Mission Statement
The goal of Garwood's Jewelers
is to maintain our position as a leading
jewelry store in Fort Collins. We are committed to serving our customers
with products of exceptional quality and beauty and ensuring customer
satisfaction through trust, integrity and outstanding personalized
service.
Our History
Garwood's Jewelers is a second-generation store
that has been in the Reider family for more than 40 years. Randy's
parents Earl and Mary Reider bought
the store in 1966 from founder Cloyd
Garwood, who opened the store in 1944. Aside from City Drug, Garwood's
is one of the oldest continually operated
stores in Old Town Fort
Collins. In addition to fine jewelry, this family-owned store
offers a number of in-house services including customization, insurance
appraisals, some engraving, jewelry cleaning, pearl restringing and
jewelry and watch repair.
We primarily carry 14 karat and 18 karat white and
yellow gold rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings with diamonds,
colored gemstones and pearls. Many
pieces are finished, but there
are also numerous semi-mounts perfect for resetting customers' existing
stones or resetting one of many new, loose diamonds and gemstones available
at Garwood's. We also have collections of sterling silver and
titanium jewelry, clocks, Cross pens, baby gifts, crystal and finer
watches.
On staff, we have three
gemologists, an appraiser, and two bench jewelers. All repair work is done
in house.
